As I sit here typing, I am smelling the glorious breakfast that Jason is busy preparing. He is home today. His dad is in town and since he had today free, Jason decided to actually take a day off - I now believe that miracles can happen.
We almost kept Emma home from school so that we could get an early start off to Grand Rapids. Then we realized that she is 'too honest' and would surely spill the beans on Monday. 'I wasn't sick - I spent the day at the gardens!'. And that would begin a long road of 'why can't I stay home from school today' discussions that I am just not prepared to have.
