What better way to spend the afternoon then taking a picnic lunch to the Bird Sanctuary?
The girls agreed. It was a blast. Some of the babies had hatched. The geese were their usual friendly selves. A little girl stuck her hand through the fence and a swan tried to eat it - yielding screaming from her, amazement from Olivia, and a sudden ten foot barrier between Emma and the fence.
It's too bad that the geese grow up to be, well, geese. They start out with such cute potential.
